“When you work a lump of clay between your hands, you repeat a gesture as old as the world itself. There is something astonishing about giving form to a mixture of earth and water. Both a pot and a clay figurine are made the same way. Through her work, Chiara Camoni reminds us that there is no difference between a tool and a work of art, between a sacred object and a decorative one, except for the meaning we assign to things, which can always be reversed.”

The volume features newly commissioned writings by Esther Kinsky, Lisa Le Feuvre, Annalisa Metta, Laura Tripaldi, Francesco Ventrella, Chiara Zamboni; alongside contributions by Cecilia Canziani, Lucia Aspesi and Fiammetta Griccioli, Angelika Burtscher and Daniele Lupo (Lungomare); as well as original texts by Giorgiomaria Cornelio and Wissal Houbabi. Accompanying these contributions are texts and images from within and around the artist’s studio: notes and documents by Linda Bertelli, Sandra Burchi, Luca Parise, Alessandra Spranzi, together with writings by Chiara Camoni. Finally, the publication includes an anthology of pre-existing texts which are dear to Camoni and Canziani, offering another point of access to the artist’s imagery: Anni Albers, Ivan Illich, Clarice Lispector, Anna Maria Ortese, Bernard Rudofsky, Anne Marie Sauzeau.

Made by many hands and many voices, Con te con tutto takes us into the artist’s studio and from there back out into the world.

Edited by Cecilia Canziani, the book is the official publication of the Italian Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia (9 May – 22 November 2026), promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
