NERO is an international publishing house devoted to art, criticism and contemporary culture. Founded in Rome in 2004, it publishes artists’ books, catalogs, editions and essays.

NERO explores present and future imaginaries beyond any field of specialization, format or code – as visual arts, music, philosophy, politics, aesthetics or fictional narrations – extensively investigating unconventional perspectives and provocative outlooks to decipher the essence of this ever changing reality.

William Paolo Guarriello

was born in 1998 in Monterotondo (Rome) from Argentine parents and lives in Fonte Nuova. He graduated in 2017 as an advertising graphic designer studying at the Angelo Frammartino Art School in Monterotondo. He enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 2017, where he took the degree in 2021 in Audiovisual Theories and Techniques with the intention of deepening the artistic and production dynamics of the film industry. Since the first academic year he started writing spec scripts for short and feature films and he is currently writing for several magazines on cinema, art, and philosophy.
