NERO is an international publishing house devoted to art, criticism and contemporary culture. Founded in Rome in 2004, it publishes artists’ books, catalogs, editions and essays.
NERO explores present and future imaginaries beyond any field of specialization, format or code – as visual arts, music, philosophy, politics, aesthetics or fictional narrations – extensively investigating unconventional perspectives and provocative outlooks to decipher the essence of this ever changing reality.
is a multidisciplinary creative and researcher in digital technologies and web subcultures. In 2016 she co-founded Clusterduck, an art collective working in the fields of research, design and transmedia. With Clusterduck she created and curated collective exhibitions and interactive installations such as #MEMEPROPAGANDA and Meme Manifesto, and publications such as The Detective Wall Guide (Aksioma, 2021). She writes about art, technology and how to survive it, on Domus, Not, INC Longform, L’indiscreto and Vogue. In 2013 she wrote and directed The 1Up Fever, a documentary about Bitcoin and Augmented Reality. With six other co-funders, she is developing a new speculative project called superinternet.world. She currently lives and works around Europe as creative director and R&D consultant.
