PARSEC

is a curatorial and research collective focused on contemporary art and critical thought. It operates through activities and events such as artist residencies, exhibitions, screenings, talks, festivals, non-formal education programmes, and consultancy for the development of artistic projects. It was founded in 2020 by ten professionals from the cultural and artistic fields who shared the desire to create a collaborative space for research and reflection on the role of art in the contemporary imagination. Since 2021, Parsec has been running Terrapolis, which began as a festival and over the years has evolved into a widespread programme. It focuses on the relationship between contemporary art and ecology and, in 2025, took place for the first time in Castiglione dei Pepoli, in the Bolognese Apennines. Parsec collaborates with local, national, and international partners, fostering dialogue through a transversal and multidisciplinary approach aimed at openness and inclusion.
