Leonardo Mastromauro
holds a PhD in Aesthetics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and is visiting professor at the Basque Country University. He has directed the Global Center for Advanced Studies LA and has been a professor at UNAB University. He has collaborated with various institutions in Italy and abroad, including Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende, VIAFARINI, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Fondazione Pistoletto-UNIDEE. He is a member of the editorial collection Archeologia del presente and contributes to the journal FataMorgana. He focuses on biopolitics, political ecology, epistemologies of the South and indigenism. His monographs include: Verginità. Saggio sulla vita che resta (2025), Che cos’è il Sud? Saggio sulla terra inappropriabile (2024), Il nome. Per un’archeologia dell’origine (2023), Felicidad e inapropiabilidad (2020).
