Giulia Gaibisso
(Rome, 1993) is an art historian and curator. With a strong vocation for research and for building relationships between voices of the present and stories from our cultural past, she coordinates projects of a performative, exhibition, and editorial nature. Since 2021, she has been part of the team at IUNO, an Independent research center on contemporary art founded by Cecilia Canziani and Ilaria Gianni. She has curated performances (CircoTornio by Chiara Camoni and the Centro di Sperimentazione, Rome 2021), exhibitions (The Good Company, Rome 2025, Great Expectations, 2024, But it did happen, Rome 2023) and workshops dedicated to writing and designed in collaboration with young Italian artists. She co-curated Roma, a Portrait. Festival delle Accademie e degli Istituti di Cultura at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome, 2023. From 2021 to 2024, she was part of the artist-run space Spazio In Situ. Over the years, she has collaborated as a curatorial assistant for MAXXI l’Aquila and GAM – Turin, as an editorial assistant for Treccani, and was part of the editorial staff of Radio GAMeC 30 years. She’s currently part of WCSCD Curatorial and Educational Program.
