Francesca De Chiara
is an emerging curator and graphic designer whose practice, since 2022, weaves together visual communication, publishing, and contemporary artistic practices. After a Master's in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at NABA Milan (2024), her research turned toward the dialogue between art and anthropology, exploring the animism of objects and forms of extended kinship, furthered through the CAMPO program (2025) at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and an international workshop on post-exhibition practices between Barcelona and Córdoba (2024), curated by ZHdK Zurich. After an internship at the Museo Madre in Naples, she now works as curatorial assistant at the Fondazione Paul Thorel, supporting its catalogue raisonné of Paul Thorel's works. Her research focuses on ecological and transgenerational themes, exploring cultural memory and the symbolism of non-human objects. Since 2023 she has been a member of A.p.s. Zona Blu, following the itinerant residency SITU Festival among small Sicilian towns, and co-founder of the collective Sinergie Naturali, promoting dialogue between art, botany, and natural sciences.
