NERO is an international publishing house devoted to art, criticism and contemporary culture. Founded in Rome in 2004, it publishes artists’ books, catalogs, editions and essays.
NERO explores present and future imaginaries beyond any field of specialization, format or code – as visual arts, music, philosophy, politics, aesthetics or fictional narrations – extensively investigating unconventional perspectives and provocative outlooks to decipher the essence of this ever changing reality.
Since 2005, she is responsible for the Visual Arts Section at Fondazione Musica of Rome Auditorium where, among others, she created the exhibition project titled Artist’s Corner which reflects about the relationship between sound and visual arts. Furthermore, she curated the Performance Section of Fluxus Biennial 2010-2011. Over the past few years, her research is focused on the relationship between sound and visual arts. In 2019 she co-curated the exhibition Il corpo della voce for Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome.
